Sudarshan completed his PhD in neuroscience from the University of Tuebingen, Germany where he worked on developing electrical stimulation protocols that can be used in retinal prostheses for the blind. In 2019, he moved to the University of Pittsburgh to work on developing generalizable brain computer interfaces (BCIs). In 2021, he moved to Copenhagen, Denmark to work as a data scientist for Lundbeck, a Danish pharmaceutical company. In 2023, he returned to India to join Wadhwani AI.
